A wedding ceremony isn’t just a formality — it’s the moment everything becomes real

It’s where your story is felt — not just told.

And it deserves to be held by someone who understands not just the words, but the rhythm of a moment…
when to guide, when to hold, and when to let everything breathe.

With a background in performance and storytelling, I bring a calm, grounded presence — and an instinct for reading a room — so your ceremony unfolds effortlessly, naturally, and entirely your own.

Because the most powerful moments aren’t forced…
they’re felt.

Tottie Goldsmith | Civil Celebrant

For couples who want a ceremony that feels as meaningful as it is memorable.

Lucy & Will Mitchell

We wanted a celebrant who could bring both warmth and gravitas, someone who could honour the joy of our love and the depth of the commitment we were making.

Tottie delivered this perfectly.

On the day, she was warm and funny, making us feel completely at ease in front of everyone we love. At the same time, her presence, charisma and beautiful delivery brought depth to the ceremony.

Behind the scenes, she was just as brilliant: guiding us with care, helping shape vows that felt truly us, and making the whole process feel easy and personal.

From start to finish, Tottie brought sparkle to our ceremony. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her.

Totties infectious energy and charismatic personality set the tone for the entire event, ensuring that every moment was filled with laughter, love, and a genuine sense of celebration.

She managed to strike the perfect balance between engaging the crowd and ensuring the focus remained on the love and commitment being celebrated. It's not an easy task, but she handled it with grace and charisma.

Her attention to detail was impeccable, from coordinating with other vendors to managing the timeline with precision. The entire evening flowed seamlessly so we could relax and enjoy every moment,

Her ability to bring joy and professionalism together is truly unparalleled, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services to any couple seeking a emcee for their wedding who goes above and beyond to make their celebration extraordinary.

My daughter’s wedding day wouldn't have been the same without her.

Certified  funeral celebrant

After officiating funerals for friends and family, I came to understand just how important this role is — and how much it asks of you, in the most human way.

A funeral isn’t just about saying goodbye.
It’s about honoring a life, holding the people left behind, and creating a space where grief, love, and memory can sit side by side.

I work closely with families to shape ceremonies that feel personal and meaningful — not bound by tradition, but guided by what feels right for you and the person you’re honouring.

I bring a calm, grounded presence, and an instinct for holding a room with care — so that, even in the hardest moments, you feel supported, and not alone.

As Dr Zeus said: Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

  • The funeral for Rickie was a man who had lived a full and long life… it was a celebration full of music and laughter. Tottie allowed people to applaud and feel part of the service… she handled the spontaneous nature of the family beautifully… two extra people stood up with something to say and she handled it as if it was rolling out exactly as planned.

  • I was present at the funeral of Ross Dennerstein. Ross was only 47 years old and passed very suddenly leaving behind his wife and three children. Tottie handled a very challenging situation with great sensitivity. Her service created a cocoon of safety for the family and flowed beautifully.

In The News

Love was well and truly in the air as Virgin Australia hosted its first-ever wedding in the sky. Stunned passengers looked on as Elaine Tiong and Luke Serdar tied the knot on a VA841 flight from Melbourne to Sydney, getting their life together as newlyweds off to a flying start.

The bride wore white, with a bouquet of red roses, as she walked down the aircraft aisle to her husband-to-be, in front of a plane-load of unsuspecting guests. He was waiting with Australian actress Tottie Goldsmith, who acted as celebrant for the ceremony.
